Join us on November 20, 2024 for a powerful and heartfelt Trans Day of Remembrance event: Temple of Remembrance, in collaboration with Xanadu. This event is dedicated to honoring the lives of trans individuals lost to violence and suicide, while providing a space for reflection, healing, and solidarity.

This event is about more than remembrance—it's about coming together as a community to support one another, reflect on the challenges we face, and commit to creating a more inclusive and loving world. Everyone is welcome to attend, and volunteers are invited to help make this day as impactful as possible.

At the center of the event, we are inviting the community to participate in a powerful and symbolic act of remembrance. Participants will have the opportunity to paint small wooden butterflies, which will be attached to the wooden structure. Along with the butterflies, anonymous letters dedicated to lost loved ones can be written and included in the ceremony. In the closing act of the event, the structure, butterflies, and letters will be burned, symbolizing both grief and healing, allowing our community to release pain, find closure, and honor the strength and resilience of those we have lost.
